Levels of Service
Superior Polymer offers four levels of service.
Private Label Proprietary
|
We will provide engineering and product development services on a simple fee for service basis. As a proprietary formulation/design, SP will turn over the production formulation and all supporting work at the completion of the project. This intellectual property is wholly owned by the client, subject to confidentiality, and can be used for patent protection. Charges for work provided through this arrangement are determined in advance through negotiations and documented in a formal agreement.

Private Label Non-Proprietary
|
We will provide engineering and development services on a fee for service basis. The final formulation/design will be owned by SP and all intellectual property rights will be retained as property of SP. The client will own a license to purchase the material from SP. SP will retain the rights to market the final formulation/design to other interested parties in a different line of business. Charges for work proivded through this arrangement are determined in advance through negotiations and documented in a formal agreement.

SPP Label Custom Tailored
|
We will provide formulation modification services to custom tailor a solution to your needs. The final formulation/design will come from a base resin system currently used by SP. SP retains the right to market this product to others in the same line of business. Often this solution is done at no charge to the customer other than a written commitment to purchase a predetermined amount of material.

Consumer off the Shelf
|
While SP is a custom house by design, we have a few products that we consider off the shelf and are kept in finished goods inventory for our customers. These products are made available at market costs to any company whose needs can be met by the product.
